Teñido natural con porotos! - Natural dyeing with beans!

I´m really excited. I have read somewhere that you can get pretty blues, lavenders, with the soaking water of black beans. I had to soak some, so I decided to give it a try.
I soaked 250 g of black beans for a day and a half and the water took a brownish, muddy, unattractive colour, quite ugly.
I put some yarn into a mordant bath (just 50 g of yarn, in case I disliked the results) with 10 g of alum in my usual dyeing pot. I sifted the bath carefully and added it to my mordant bath, then put it to heat up. I was terribly surprised when about 10 minutes later the bath started to turn to an intense blue/violet!!!
I turned off the heat some time ago, and I´m leaving it in the pot until tomorrow to cool off and to make it absorb as much colour as possible. Apparently, the final colour will be a bright lavender, and there´s still pigment in the bath water.
When it´s ready, I´ll upload pictures. I´M SO EXCITEEEEED!!!!!!
